Well, anyway, I thought I'll show you my volvo, doesn't look like much but hopefully I'll give it more time and spend more money on it in a few months

Info:
Engine: Volvo 940 S2.3 (B230FK, 135hp)
Cylinderhead: Volvo 531 (From B230ET/FB)
Turbocharget: TD04HL-15T from SAAB 9-5 Aero, made lager to 18T(!) anf changed exhaushousing
Fuelinjectors from V70R
Airmassmeter from volvo 960
VX3 camshaft
Adjustable fuelpreassure
3 inch exhaust from turbo, and 3inch catalys..
remade flywheel
sachs race engineering -712 clutch
1041 rear axle
etc etc..

This is a few days after I bought the car


Ordered some things from volvoshop.net


Made a holder for boostmeter and oilpressuregage


Put some blue LED's in,


And this is how it looked, about 1 year ago, in a snowy Luleå, in the north of sweden




Hade to get a rear axle with a differential locker


So, mounting the Eiker E1 rims, 17" in May of 2006

High, huh? Yeah I must lower the car for better handling


Alittle bit lower! oh I forgot to fell, the tail lights are from volvo 960 1995-> / S90 (all 4 parts)

So, then i picked the engine apart, and pu in the V70R fuel injectors, the 531 cylinder head and the 18T turbocharger + the 3" exhaust and the AMM from 960


Gotta have a fuelmap fitting those injectors and the AMM from volvo 960


Then I put in the armrest/cupholder from volvo 960 1995+ / S90


And the EBC GreenStuff brakepads

0 227 400 219 box controling the EZ116 K ignition system with some chip in it

Soon to be replaced..

And the new BOSCH 0 580 254 044 fuelpump, to be fitted this spring

I can usually be found in porche 911 (993) GT2 Turbo 4 models.

Well, i might have forgot some things, building the exhaust,
renovating the cylinder head, modifying the turbo to fit etc, but i guess you all know how those things are done so..

that's my car "this far.." Usually I just use it to get to and from work

Good job! What a car and what an invest? Very nice car. Have you try on the dyno test yet? Give us a feedback. Over here in Thailand we have lots of muscle volvo, but most of them are on Toyota machine. Very few that run on original Volvo. We can share some information here.

There's no dynotest done on my car,
a similar car with the same fuelmap did this

~270bhp / 380Nm ut I aim just a little bit higher

In sweden we are limited by european law and emission laws etc,
så very big modifications to the cars setup (engine etc) cannot be made very easily
That's too bad, 'cause I'd really like to put in a 16v cylinder head

Well anyway, now there will not be many updates to my car for a few months,
sweden is an expensive country (atleast for swedes), my computer broke down so
I just bought a new one etc etc..
but I promise I'll post updates here if you all would like to see

but atleast i could show you some work-in-progress pictures.:

(new impeller for the compressor and a new exhaust housing to fit 940 exhaust)


The modified flywheel, a polished 18T, the clutch from ZF Sachs, adjustable fuelpreassure regulatorkit
and camshaftwheel(?) a friend of mine made most of the work on the fluwheel, the puelpress and camshaftwheel


some new nuts&bolts, and the new exhaust-part of the turbo.

The turbocharger with a homemade holder for the vacum to open the internal wastegate

compressor and exhaust are rotated to fit the volvo.

a friend made the flange to fit the downpipe, to fit the turbo

looked very nice

The downpipe being welded, using gas... (had no TIG-welding available, only MIG and thats not good for exhausts)

it still hade an automatic transmission (AW71L)

Hello, Thasaint,  you job is so terrific,  I really like your car and your modifying technic,  If you are Thai people,  and open your business in thailand,  it would be so nice and make a big money,  because, we have so many of machanic,  there are good for repair and maintance technic, but a few of them can modify the car,  to get  more advance  modify,  they need to learn form  your expereince,  especially, you expertist,  for my car I also used to have  940se 1995,   I tried to  repair and maintanace to keep it running in good condition,  running with  maximum horse power, that it for me,  but  your  article, very interesting and  make this webboard get much more colorful,  so please keep in touch, sir, we welcome you at anytime, ..

If anybody wanna run the same setup for engine, the "012" AMM (Air Mass Meter) is also found in Ferrari F50 and Ferrari 456GT.
